Article 1 Collective offers the EU labels for settlement products

The European Parliament instructed the European Commission to complete the EU-wide guidelines on the labelling of Israeli settlement produce in a resolution adopted on the 9th of September 2015.

According to the European Union, Israeli settlements are illegal under international law and constitute an obstacle for peace. Article 1 Collective says that Israeli settlement produce originates from stolen land and should thus be banned.

To label Israeli settlement produce in line with the EU’s official position, Article 1 Collective offers the European Commission an innovative label, which clearly explains the origin and illegality of Israeli settlement produce. The label was designed by Annelys de Vet.

The labels can be used for free. Download them here to clarify the status of settlement produce. Print the labels on an A4 label sheet, with 24 labels of 70 * 37 mm per sheet, available here, or at your local stationery store.
